Last night's threadgill was full of some very good music, but somewhat disappointing, in that, with some many new folk winners on stage, i had hoped for some GREAT music..

It was an enjoyable concert, with lots of camaraderie in evidence.

Lots of quiet space on the ranch this week.. big noise coming from the main bathroom gig space, and a very nice circle at coho.. The nashville canopy is gone, and many tent spots are empty.. Kristin DeWitt left last night, but Buddy mondlock arrived, and Jack Hardy is on the way..

I heard two top-notch songs last night at coho.. Karen Mal's ode to her inner-3 year old, and a new song from Ronny Cox about the loss of a love.. Not surprisingly, a real gut-wrencher from his heart..

Beautiful cool evening with lots of stars.. half-moon rising late at night..

Sudden Creek is down to a trickle, but was still trickling this morning.

Dave Crossland is walking around like a new daddy with his Boston Red Sox Cap on.. You'd think they've never been in first before.. (well, maybe they haven't!! )

It's surprising it doesn't blink in neon or something like that..

Well, as they say, every dog has it's day..
